Balboa park in San Diego is such a beautiful area to walk around. There are so many activities, both free and paid, that anyone can really enjoy.
Even just walking around the area is an activity within itself. Some of the free activities you can do are:
1. Walk around the entire park and enjoy the architecture!
2. Gardens in the conservatory is free to enter, and includes so many kinds of different plants to see.
3. Timken Museum is located right next to the conservatory, and is free to enter. Browse and enjoy the artwork!
4. History of San Diego Museum is free (suggested donation), but if you’re curious about the city’s history and it’s locals this is the place!
Some of the best paid activities to do (in my humble opinion) is the San Diego Zoo located nearby, Museum of Man, and the Museum if Natural History.
